Great County, Exceptional Leadership
This month, Chatham Alliance had the honor of attending the graduation of the Chatham County Leadership Academy Class of 2024. The year long program helps employees to sharpen their management skills and prepare for expanded responsibilities. As part of the program, the class is divided into small groups that participate in community service projects. A team of five Chatham County employees chose to serve with the Chatham Chuckwagon. They led food distributions in both Pittsboro and Siler City.
During the graduation ceremony, team “Homeward Chatham” gave a two part presentation. The first half highlighting the CW and the second half was their vision of a county office building. It was during the second half of the presentation that it became clear how exceptional these leaders truly are. Their vision was thoughtful and inclusive. They considered everything from accessibility to the environment in their design. They worked together with grace and envisioned a work environment and a community where each persons needs are met. We are indeed fortunate to have knowledgable, compassionate and hopeful leaders in our county. Thank you leaders for allowing Chatham Alliance to be a small part of your journey.
