Celebrating Independence Day

Chatham Alliance sends a big Thank You to Ms. Shirille Lee and the staff at Communities in Schools for participating in the Kids Love Community program. Ms. Lee and her team organized local youth to produce love notes and cookies in honor of Independence Day. Children from Pittsboro Elementary School along with the staff from CIS made love notes. Children from Horton Middle School’s “Cooking Matters” team prepared cookies. Volunteers helped to bake and package.  The love notes were given to the community during the Chuckwagon distribution on July 2, 2024. Thank you all for your service!
