Can you help us feed our neighbors?

Once a quarter, our Community Harvest program raises money to prepare complete nutritious meals for food-insecure residents of Chatham County. Every little bit — $5, $10 — helps us purchase vegetables and rice to supplement chicken donated by Mountaire Cares.

Donations can be made on our Giving page.

At Select_Program, please choose “Community Harvest.”

Thank you for your support!

There are many ways to make a difference in our community. Blood donations are crucial for maintaining a stable blood supply, ensuring that hospitals and patients have access to what they need.

Help hope bloom this spring: Give blood!!

Chatham Alliance would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to The Chatham Marketplace for their generous donation of $1,641.21 raised during their Q4-2024 Roundup campaign. This contribution will go a long way in furthering our mission to care for our neighbors through nutritional support.

Thank you for helping us make a meaningful impact in our community!

  • The Chatham Chuckwagon works to promote community care and food equity in Chatham County thanks to donations from local community members, churches, businesses and farmers.

The Chatham Chuckwagon partners with volunteers to prepare delicious, healthy meals on a weekly basis, at one of several local community kitchens. The meals are packaged, frozen and given to members of the community free of charge.

Within the last year, the program has provided over 20,000 meals to members of our community.

We invite community members to come pick up a meal for you and your family or volunteer to come join a cooking or distribution team and meet new neighbors and maybe make new friends while making Chatham a better place for all.

  • Chatham Community Harvest grew out of a pandemic-era “pay it forward” collaboration between Equiti Foods, maker of Good Bowls, and the local foodie group Pittsboro Eats! with a mission to support local restaurants while feeding our neighbors in Pittsboro and Chatham County. In mid-2023, Chatham Community Harvest was established as a core program of the Chatham Alliance, a 501c-3 corporation.

With proceeds from quarterly fund-raising campaigns, Chatham Community Harvest produces healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals that are distributed free of charge thru Communities in Schools Chatham County, CORA Food Pantry, and Chatham Chuckwagon.
